Singer Shibani Kashyap is multi-tasking for her debut TV show "Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera". Apart from acting in it, she's also styling for her own character.
Megha, Shibani's character in the Star Plus show, is seen mentoring the main protagonist - played by Shivin Narang - who has participated in a music reality show. Shibani says "Megha is an extension of my own personality."
"So I have done my own styling in the show. I would wear all the clothes from the show in my normal life," the singer told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
Shibani, who has walked the ramp as a showstopper for several fashion designers, said she loves to be a part of the fashion industry.
"Fashion shows have become very popular and frequent. I feel fortunate to be a part of the fashion industry which has become global in terms of fashion," the singer said.
Asked about her favourite shopping destination, the "Sajna aa bhi jaa" crooner said: "There's not only one favourite destination. But Dubai stands out of the rest."
"Dubai has a lot of trendy options and brands. In Mumbai, there is one particular shop in Pali Hill where I shop from. I refer it as mini Bangkok."
Most of the singer's clothes are put together by her best friend Madhu Sajnani and some popular designers from Delhi including Malini Ramani, Rohit Bal and Jatin Kochhar.
For a casual outing, Shibani likes to team up a pair of slim-fit jeans with a cropped top and she keeps elegant gowns for galas and red carpet event.
