Shoba Ltd Q1 profit Rs.46.4 crore

Real estate player Shoba Limited on Friday said it posted a net profit of Rs.46.4 crore for the first quarter of 2015-16, registering a 17 percent dip against Rs.56.3 crore in the same period last year.

In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Bengaluru-based company said it total income from operations, net sales and interest in Q1 stood at Rs.450 crore, down 20 percent from Rs.569.5 crore in the same quarter last year.

Shoba Limited sold 8,41,399 square feet of real estate valued at Rs.531.8 crore in eight Indian cities in the period under review.
