Designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna chose to present a sober summer collection, which mostly consisted of colours similar to the Indian skin tone, at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week (WIFW) here.

"We wanted it to be quiet this time. We have used lot of sheer and gloss. Skin tone apparel looks gorgeous," Rohit told reporters after presenting the last show of the third day of the fashion week.

The Quiet Vanity collection comprised net, silk and organza among other fabrics. There was a blend of grey and nude. It had a salmon, copper and blue dress, jackets, crop tops and skirts which can be worn during evening parties.

Layering was done for most of the pieces. Metallic embroideries accentuated the look of the clothes too.

The designer duo were happy after the show concluded.

"It was stressful for us. We have done a lot of shows in the past but every show is like a baby," said Rohit.
