A man was hospitalised after he was viciously attacked with a sharp weapon by his son over a family dispute in Burdwan district's Kalna on Tuesday, police said.
"The son attacked his father with a sharp weapon during an altercation and severely injured him on the process. The victim is admitted in Kalna Hospital," an officer from Kalna police station said.
The victim has a deep cut injury in his chest.
"No formal police complaint has been lodged in the case yet. Our officers have gone to the hospital to look into the matter," he added.
