Six persons, including three of a family, were killed when a speeding truck hit an auto in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur district, police said on Saturday.
The accident took place near the community health centre (CHC) at Neri village under Ramkot police station.
The truck was at high speed and hit the divider, broke it and rammed into the auto on the other side, a police official told IANS.
After the collision both the vehicles fell down in the roadside ditch. The persons killed have been identified as Usha, 45, Shivam, 6, Rinki, 30, Lalu 35. However, two others have not been identified as yet, police said.
