Musician Sting, whose real name is Gordon Sumner, has denied the possibility of getting back together with his old bandmates -- drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers -- for the band The Police.
"I haven't gone back, this is part of my musical life. I play rock 'n' roll every night of my working life so, it's not like I am going to return and be just like The Police. I am the f***ing Police," Sting told The Sun newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The "Every breath you take" hitmakers last performed together on a worldwide tour, which ended in 2008. Sting said in 2010 he didn't want to rejoin the group because he found the music they were making was uninspiring.
