Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir Sunday vowed to end armed conflict across the country by 2014 followed by transparent elections in 2015.
"We promise that 2014 would be the year that all tribal conflicts and wars in all parts of Sudan end," said al-Bashir, addressing the 6th conference of the National Union of Sudanese Youth in Khartoum Sunday.
Al-Bashir urged the youth of armed movements nationwide to resort to dialogue for resolving all conflicts, reported Xinhua.
He renewed his call for all political parties in Sudan to agree on a national programme based on the issues of peace and constitution.
