It was a sunny morning in the capital Sunday. The minimum temperature settled at 25.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast a clear day.
"The skies will remain sunny and the afternoon will be hot," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature will hover around 35 degrees Celsius, said the official.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum was a notch below average at 25 degree Celsius.
