Actor Shaheer Sheikh, who will next be seen playing Supriya Pilgaonkar's onscreen son in forthcoming TV show "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi", says he is a "big fan" of the actress and has always looked up to her work for acting tips.

"I am a huge fan of Supriya Pilgaonkar. She is my all-time favourite actor. When I was a child, the first show that I ever started watching was 'Tu Tu Main Main' and since then I have loved her work," Shaheer, best known for his roles in shows like "Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal" and "Mahabharat", said in a statement.

"Today I consider myself blessed that I have got an opportunity to work with her. As a person, she is extremely warm. She wants to give her best in every scene and that really motivates everyone around her.

"She brings a lot of positivity with her and she has the best smile. While shooting she is extremely helpful and always there for her co-stars," Shaheer added.

Supriya, wife of actor Sachin Pilgaonkar, has been a prominent part of the entertainment industry for over two decades.

She is best known for her roles in TV shows like "Sasural Genda Phool", "Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi...Meri Bhabhi" and "Tu Tota Main Maina".

Her film credits include "Khoobsurat", "Awara Paagal Deewana" and "Deewane Huye Paagal".

Apart from them, "Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi", which will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television starting February 29, will also feature Erica Fernandes.

Rohan Mehra, Umang Jain's 'filmy' engagement on TV show

Actors Rohan Mehra and Umang Jain, who are currently seen playing the roles of Naksh and Tara in popular soap opera "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", will be seen having a "filmy" engagement in the upcoming sequence.

While the duo are currently upset with each other, their families will try to bring them together.

"Tara will be seen getting into a dilemma for choosing between her love and passion for hockey. She will be scheduled to play an extremely important hockey match at the same time as her engagement to Naksh," Umang said in a statement.

She will later choose her passion over love.

However, after a lot of hurdles and twists, the entire family including Naksh will reach the venue of the hockey match.

"It will be an extremely filmy union of Naksh and Tara. Naksh will propose to her at the hockey stadium in the presence of both the families," Umang added.

"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", aired on Star Plus, also stars Hina Khan, Karan Mehra and Ashnoor Kaur in pivotal roles.
