Suresh Nambath appointed as next Editor of The Hindu

The Hindu Publishing Group on Monday said its Board of Directors unanimously appointed Suresh Nambath as the Editor of the English daily The Hindu.

In a statement, The Hindu Publishing Group said Nambath will take over as the Editor from March 1, 2019 succeeding Mukund Padmanabhan.

Padmanabhan has been the Editor of The Hindu from March 2016.

Over the past 22 years, Nambath has engaged himself in various aspects of bringing out the newspaper, which is now 140 years old.
