Thailand's Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk gave Hyderabad Hotshots a 1-0 lead by winning the men's singles match against Awadhe Warriors' R.M.V. Gurusaidutt at the Siri Fort Sports Complex here Thursday.

The Thai shuttler won 15-21, 21-14, 11-9 against the Indian, who is ranked World No.20.
