The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Telangana on Tuesday denied that it has tapped phone of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

ACB Director General A.K. Khan has termed as baseless reports in a section of media that the agency tapped phones of some leaders from Andhra Pradesh including the chief minister.

The ACB conduct investigations in any case in accordance with the law and in a transparent manner, he said.

Meanwhile, Khan and Telangana intelligence chief Shivadhar Reddy met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and reviewed the progress in cash-for-vote scam involving Telugu Desam Party's (TDP) Telangana legislator A. Revanth Reddy.

The meeting comes in the wake of reports that ACB is planning to issue notice to Chandrababu Naidu for questioning in the case.

The meeting was held on a day when ACB completed four-day questioning of Revanth Reddy and two others, who were caught red-handed on May 31 while offering Rs.50 lakh to nominated member Elvis Stephenson to make him vote for TDP-BJP candidate in Telangana legislative council elections.

An audio tape of Naidu's alleged telephonic conversation with Stephenson surfaced on Sunday.
