Scottish tennis ace and World NO.3 Andy Murray and his wife Kim Sears are expecting their first child, Murray's agent confirmed on Friday.
The couple tied the knot in the former Wimbledon champion's hometown of Dunblane in April. Kim, 27, has recently had her 12-week scan, with the baby due in February, reports bbc.com.
Murray's mother Judy recently has also said that she was looking for "to being a granny".
The 28-year-old, Murray had enjoyed a steady run of form after marrying Sears as he reached the semi-finals of the Wimbledon and French Open and also clinched his first titles on clay.
Earlier this year, Murray had said: "It (marriage) has been nice and a lot of people have spoken about the honeymoon period.
"But we've been together a very long time and getting married was the next step."
