Three killed in Ayodhya road accident

Three persons were killed in Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday when the driver of their vehicle lost control and it turned turtle, police said.

The vehicle was carrying pilgrims who were returning to Barabanki from Ayodhya after performing the 14-kosi "Parikrama", according to the police.

Over a dozen people have been injured in the accident of which three are critical and have been admitted to a local medical facility. The critically wounded have been rushed to the Trauma Centre at King George's Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow.

The deceased belonged to Dariyabad in Barabanki.
