Family heirlooms are always special and a popular one which is passed on over generations is a time piece. Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who is the brands ambassador of luxury watch brand Longines, says that very often these time pieces have so much to tell.
"These time pieces have so much to tell. I got my first Longines watch in 1999 and I will surely be passing it on. I am sure one day it will have sentimental value. This value is priceless than any value which can be monetarily attached. You have to cherish this," Aishwarya said at a press conference here Wednesday.
A special contest 'Search for the oldest Longines watch' was held a while back and the actress facilitated the winners.
"I was floored by the idea (of the contest). But I had no idea how it would be executed and the logistics of it," said Aishwarya who looked stunning in a black and red lehenga.
Along with this, the new range of Longines watches, Conquest Classic, was also unveiled.
