Actress Tina Desai, who has a role in forthcoming Hollywood film "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", will soon also be seen playing a lead character in the "Sense8" American fiction drama series.
The show revolves around eight strangers from different parts of the world who suddenly become mentally and emotionally linked.
The show is directed and produced by The Wachowskis brothers, who have worked on several Hollywood projects including the "Matrix" trilogy and the upcoming Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis-starrer "Jupiter Ascending".
"It's great to have such amazing offers come my way. Working with the Wachowskis brothers is a dream for any actor and I am glad I got to be a part of the show. It's been extremely exciting and a great experience so far," Tina said in a statement.
The show, which also stars Naveen Andrews, will be aired May onwards in US.
