Singer Tochi Raina of "Iktara" fame has recorded a song for the film "BHK Bhalla@Halla.Kom". He says the track reminds him of the quirky "Ek chatur naar" number from the 1968 film "Padosan".

"When I kept on listening to the song for 'BHK Bhalla@Halla.Kom', I remembered 'Ek chatur naar' from 'Padosan'. The composition encompasses certain singing styles and small bits of conversations. So, when they blend with song, you'll be reminded of that song," Raina told IANS.

The song is composed and penned by Rahul Mishra.

The film's director Rakesh Chaturvedi Om said the song will feature in the film, but it will also be employed as a promotional track.

"Tochi Raina creates a soul for the film and people will connect to it themselves. It would feel like their own voice. The kind of colours that he has filled in the song, perhaps no one could've made it as colourful as this. He has made it more than beautiful," the director added.

The film features Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Ujjwal Rana, Inshika Bedi, Yashpal Sharma and Brijendra Kala among others. It is jointly produced by Dhiraj Rokad, Amit Rokad, Ashok Tripathi, Rakesh Chaturvedi under the banner 9 Production, GM Film Production and RCOM Productions.

The film is slated for release on February 5 next year.
