Turkish player Arda Turan signed a contract with FC Barcelona for the next five seasons.
He held his first press conference as a FC Barcelona player on Friday after signing the contract, Xinhua reported.
He admitted having received offers from other teams, but he was really interested in signing up for FC Barcelona.
"People who have known me since I was a kid know that I have always wanted to form part of this team, this is a dream come true for me," he said.
"I will be playing to a new system here. But I think I will be able to adapt. It will not be easy but I am hoping that the transition will go well," Turan said.
After the press conference, Turan was introduced to the fans at FC Barcelona stadium, Camp Nou. Some 10,000 fans observed the photo shoot on the pitch.
