Two airplanes clipped wings at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, according to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority on Sunday.
The inbound Air Canada Flight AC1713 with 286 passengers on board from Dominica collided with a LOT Polish Airlines plane LOT046 at a bay of Terminal 1 of the airport at about 10.18 p.m. on Saturday, Xinhua reported.
The Polish Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner was at the gate with passengers boarding and its winglet was hit by the winglet of the Air Canada Boeing 767-300 which was trying to park in a neighbouring bay.
All passengers disembarked the planes safely. The Polish flight from Toronto to Warsaw was cancelled and its passengers on the plane were accommodated in a hotel and rebooked to other flights.
The accident is under investigation, said the authority.
