At least two people were killed and several more injured in Buenos Aires during a shooting among fans of Argentine football club Boca Juniors before a friendly match against San Lorenzo.
Buenos Aires Medical Emergency System (SAME) director Alberto Crescenti confirmed the death of the two people during an interview with local television channel Cronica TV Sunday, reports Xinhua.
One of the victims, 35, died due to a shot in the chest and the other, 45, died in Santojanni hospital, also due to a firearm shot, the director said.
The shooting between two rival fan groups of Boca Juniors resulted in the suspension of the friendly match between Boca Juniors and San Lorenzo scheduled to be played in "El Nuevo Gasometro" stadium (San Lorenzo).
