New Delhi, April 21 (IANS) Amid public outrage over the rape of a five-year-old girl here, two more minors were brutalised in Delhi, police said Sunday. Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the two separate incidents.
An 11-year-old girl was raped in the afternoon by her 22-year-old neighbour when she was alone at her house in Bhalaswa Dairy area in north Delhi, police said.
Accused Pawan was caught by the girl's neighbours who were alerted by her screams, police said.
In a separate incident, a 15-year-old girl was Friday abducted and gang-raped by two people in Samaypur Badli area in north Delhi, police said.
The victim's family approached police Saturday morning and her medical examination confired rape, police said.
The victim told police that Rinku and Vinod abducted her from outside a house and took her to a vacant plot in the area. The two raped her and dumped her outside the house.
Police arrested Rinku Sunday but Vinod is absconding.
