Abu Dhabi, May 23 (IANS/WAM) Leaders of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have met senior officials of the US, the Czech Republic and Kenya and held talks on enhancing ties.
Lt. Gen. Obaid Mohammed Al Ka'abi, undersecretary of the UAE ministry of defence, met US Assistant Secretary of Defense (Logistics & Material Readiness) Alan F. Estevez.
Ras Al Khaimah ruler Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi met visiting First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Karel Schwarzenberg.
Schwarzenberg is visiting the UAE with a delegation of businessmen and investors.
In Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Kariuki Mugwe, Consul-General of Kenya in Dubai, on the occasion of his assumption of duty in the country.
