The Uttar Pradesh assembly paid rich tributes to Union Minister Anil Madhav Dave who passed away in New Delhi earlier on Thursday.
Leaders cutting across party lines and Assembly Speaker Hriday Narayan Dixit said the nation will always remain indebted to the late leader for his work as an eminent social worker, writer and a nationalist.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed profound grief at the sudden death of Dave and said that he was always active in social and political activities right from his student days.
His work was highly appreciated by various organisations and institutions in not only Madhya Pradesh but other parts of the country as well, the Chief Minister said.
Leader of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party Om Prakash Rajbhar, Leader of Opposition Ram Govind Chowdhary, BSP's Lalji Verma, Congress leader Ajay Kumar 'Lallu' and Apna Dal's R.K. Patel also expressed condolences on the passing away of the Union Minister and requested the Speaker to communicate the feelings of their respective parties to the bereaved family of the late minister.
