Leading budget phone maker Micromax on Thursday said its CEO Vineet Taneja resigned from the company to pursue other interests.
"Vineet has moved on to pursue other interests. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him good luck," said Mircomax in a statement.
It said that the business is as usual in the company.
"The co-founders and senior leadership are very well entrenched into the operations and the business is as usual," the statement added.
Micromax was founded in 2000 by Rahul Sharma, Sumeet Arora, Vikas Jain and Rajesh Agarwal.
