Actor-comedian Vir Das is set to feature in a commercial, which has a script penned by him. He has also conceptualised the idea and directed the advertisement for the brand.
The actor, who writes the scripts of his live shows, said in a statement: "I was keen to work on various aspects behind the camera. When the opportunity to direct and also write came along for this, I got extremely excited."
"Writing is something I enjoy, especially comedy, and it fit well with the concept this time. Looking forward to direct the commercial, too, which I'm currently conceptualising," he added.
Vir has featured in films like "Mastizaade" and "Shivaay". He was lauded for his performance in last year's film "31st October", based on the 1984 Sikh riots.
