A court in Uttar Pradesh's Faizabad Tuesday issued a warrant against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Samajwadi Party legislator Tej Narain Pandey and IAS official Ajay Shukla, seeking their appearance in a case.
The additional district judge (V) of Faizabad issued the warrant against Yadav and others on a petition by Ali Baba, resident of Maudaha in Faizabad, alleging that Pandey forcibly got a road and a drain constructed on his (Baba) land with his constituency development funds.
The CM and others have been asked to appear before court Sep 23.
