The water resources ministry has launched its e-book as a step towards e-governance and transparency, the government said Tuesday.
It said the 87-page e-book was exhaustive and covered almost all programmes and schemes of the ministry.
"Up to date information about various activities of the ministry has been provided on the e-book. The e-book link is -- http://mowr.gov.in/writereaddata/e-book.pdf," the ministry said in a release.
The ministry had launched its Facebook page in November as part of its efforts to reach to a larger audience through the social media.
