It’s not just the CBI and journalists who habitually report that the person they are looking for could not be contacted or did not respond to their email or phone calls. The chairman of the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (Nafed) decided to conduct an internal meeting without the managing director being present. He did so after putting up a notice on the Nafed bulletin board saying the managing director could not “be contacted/not responding (sic), either through email or on phone”.
