The missing link?

The Congress Party may not have officially endorsed any anti-Hazare views from civil society representatives yet. But Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s official website, www.keralacm.gov.in provides a new link to social activist and writer Arundhati Roy’s recent article on the Lok Pal issue. The original headline that appeared in The Hindu, says, “I’d rather not be Anna”. The chief minister’s link comes with a straightforward headline “Lok Pal will create two oligarchies: Arundhathi [sic] Roy”. Politics apart, Roy and Chandy come from the same district in south Kerala, though that probably has little to do with the website link.
