While leftist journalist P Sainath has been on a lecture tour of the US – much like other leftists who love going to California – the Congress Party’s resident leftist and US-hater Mani Shankar Aiyer is also in the US berating the policies of his own party’s government and attacking Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Even Republicans shy away from criticising President Obama outside their country, and no Democrat would ever do that. But the Congress party is an ultra-democratic party so who cares for civility?
