Watering hole

India International Centre has now become just a watering hole. IIC’s well-stocked library has remained shut for over a month now for ‘renovation and maintenance’. So the handful of people who frequented the library, such as former J&K Governor Jagmohan, are at a loose end these days. The bar, however, has advanced its opening time to 6 pm from the earlier 7 pm.
