A Hinduja family wedding in Udaipur last week became the talk of the town with almost all big hotels booked for the event. What took the cake was the transformation of the Udaipur airport into an 'international' airport, with the central government setting up immigration counters for guests coming to the city to attend the event. The airport accommodated over 100 charter flights that ferried the rich and powerful from across the world, including rulers of many Gulf countries. The star guest at the event, of course, was Hollywood actor and singer Jennifer Lopez, who, say insiders, charged Rs 7 crore to perform at the wedding.
