The Lok Janshakti Party chief sat on the dharna for about two hours and threatened to launch an agitation in support the community.
The dharna was organised jointly by Dalit Sena and the party's Vaishali district unit at the historic Gandhi Ashram here.
It was attended by hundreds of party workers and leaders.
