Taking note of fresh clashes that took place in Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday, in which four were killed, he said the power of the government was "supreme" and it would crush forces involved in vitiating atmosphere in the state.
Highlighting the works done by Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, the SP supremo said Rs 90 crores had already been given to the affected areas for construction of houses for the victims.

He said temple-mosque dispute was flared up by certain communal forces to divide the society.
"We have been forced to order firing (in Ayodhya) to prevent demolition of Babri mosque. Recently in the name of 84 kosi parikrama, attempts were made to bring in people in Ayodhya in Sadhu's attire but it was timely banned by the SP government," Yadav said.
He added that SP would continue it fight against communalism and protest BJP till it changed its policies.
Yadav also paid tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary.
