IDBI Bank Ltd. was awarded the coveted international certification ISO 9001:2008 for all its Currency Chests across the country. Shri B.P. Singh, Deputy Managing Director, IDBI Bank Ltd., received the Certificate from Shri Prodipto Basu Roy, General Manager of Intertek Systems Certification on behalf of the Bank, at a function held at the Corporate Office of the Bank. Shri R.K. Bansal, Group Head [Retail Banking], Shri K.C. Jani, Executive Director [Operations] and other senior officials of IDBI Bank were also present. Equipped with ISO 9001:2008 Certification for its Centralised Operations and Currency Chests, the Bank is now contemplating to bring all its Centralised Clearing Units under the said Certification to emerge as a world class one-stop universal Bank.
