Bedmutha wins mega project status from Govt of Maharashtra

Bedmutha Industries Limited one of the biggest player engaged in manufacturer of wire and wire products, have been awarded a mega project status for its expansion plan by government of Maharashtra.

The project was originally awarded for setting up the plant in Dhulia district but after considering the overall project viability it was decided to put up a plant in Nasik. Bedmutha has acquired 52 acres of land in Nasik district for this purpose. The application for change in location is submitted.

Under this expansion, company has planned to put up the project of Rs.307.42 cr for manufacturing of LRPC wire, spring steel wire, galvanized wire, Aluminum rods which will cater to   all infrastructure segments such as Roads, Rails, Metro, Flyovers, and Power etc.

Manufacturing Capacities:
1 LRPC Wires 36000MT
2 Spring Steel Wire 18000MT
3 Galvanised Wire 49000MT
4 Aluminum Rod 42000MT

The project is appraised by Punjab National Bank. It is expected to be fully implemented by March, 2012 and the commercial production will start by April, 2012. The projected turnover with full capacity utilization will be approximately Rs. 1450 cr by March 2014.

Commenting on the Mega Project status Mr. Vijay Vedmutha, MD, Bedmutha Industries Ltd said “We are extremely happy with the trust that government of Maharastra has shown in us. The Mega project status will enable the company to avail tax incentive to the extent of 100% of capital   expenditure”.
