Career Point Infosystems Ltd (CPIL), one of the leading companies that tutelage students for competitive entrance examinations reported a 27% jump in its Revenue to Rs 78.62 crore as against Rs 61.65 crore in the same period of last fiscal. Net Profit for the year rose by 37.8% to Rs 27.3 crore as against Rs 19.8 crore in the year-ago period.
Operating Margin (EBIDTA) for the year stood almost the same as it was last year at 38%. Basic EPS stood at Rs. 16.8 as compared to Rs. 14.7.
For the fourth quarter ended March 31st, 2011 Net Profit was up 44 % to Rs 7.64 crore as against Rs 5.28 crore in Q4FY10. Net Sales rose 14% to Rs 19.7 crore as against Rs 17.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Operating margin for Q4FY11 stood at 32.6%. EPS for the quarter was Rs 4.2 as compared to Rs 3.6 in Q4FY10.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Pramod Maheshwari, Chairman & Managing Director of Career Point Infosystems Ltd said: “This quarter has been highly rewarding for us as we successfully launched two unique projects. First is CPLive in which we are conducting live video-audio interactive classes over internet for the aspirants of various competitive examinations. Our business is also growing in the space of Education Consultancy & Management Services.”

- Career Point Infra Ltd: It is wholly owned subsidiary & in the field of rendering infrastructure and allied services for setting-up of physical infrastructure for educational institution.
- Career Point Edutech Ltd.: It provides technology driven assessment & online testing services
