Citizen Watches welcomes the year 2010 with a new collection

Premium Japanese watch maker Citizen Watches Co. Ltd. is starting off the New Year in an imposing style. The precision watch maker brand launched its internationally renowned range of Radio Controlled watch in India along with inaugurating the new office space to celebrate the New Year. Also launched were the latest Eco-Drive collections of chronograph, diamond studded watches as well as the stunning automatic collection.

The company is also relocating its headquarters in Bangalore to the CITIZEN, 299, 6th Main HALL, 2nd stage, Indira Nagar, Bangalore – 38.

• Radio Controlled Watch CALIBRE H610: Ever imagined a watch that captures radio waves and automatically adjusts the time and date! This was the thought ignited over a decade ago at CITIZEN. A thought, which has been crafted into a masterpiece from CITIZEN called the Radio-Controlled Calibre H610.
  The radio controlled caliber H610 is designed to receive standard time radio waves from 5 stations including Germany, USA, Japan (East & West) and China. Upon reception, it automatically corrects the time and date, allowing a smooth transition of time without the user having to worry about it. For world time, users can choose from 26 cities and UTC.
  From the multi-layered dial that captures light using the Eco-Drive technology and receives multi-band radio reception, to the company’s signature flight pilot design, the watch has got it all! • 34 DIAMOND watch for women: The latest Eco-Drive Diamond collection for women comes with a perfect blend of style and technology. Crafted with 34 diamonds and cabochon crown with a mother of pearl dial, the watch is sure to catch the fancy of urbane Indian women. Additional features include a stainless steel bracelet and water resistant and the watch is priced at Rs. 24,300.
• The DRESS Watch: Dress for success with the new Eco-Drive Dress watch for men. The stainless steel body combined with sapphire glass gives the watch a unique style of its own. Additional features include day, date display and water resistant to 10 bar and the watch is priced at Rs. 14,700.

MARKETING PLANS:
Elaborating on the expansion plans Mr. Kawaguchi commented, “In this new year 2010, we are planning to expand our reach to the customers with focusing on quality penetration into Indian market. Further concentrating on the market penetration, we will focus on the southern markets, which have good potential of watch lovers.”

He added, “We are looking at a 30% growth rate per annum this year.”

This initiative will boost the company’s current sales of Rs. 60 Crores to double of the turnover by the next 3 years.”
