IBM implements ERP solution at Roca India to support its rapid Business Growth

IBM hardware to support IT infrastructure for end-to-end business processes

IBM has announced the successful implementation of latest SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for ROCA India a leading name in sanitary ware and tiles. The new set-up has given Roca, a robust IT infrastructure to manage end-to-end business processes and scale to match it’s aggressive growth plans. Also this implementation has helped Roca India to sync with the global parent company’s systems more effectively – operationally and financially.

ROCA globally has deployed IBM hardware for its IT infrastructure to run all business applications which has demonstrated proven benefits like high uptime, scalability and ease of maintenance. As a result the Indian operations of ROCA also decided to implement it’s new solution on IBM hardware comprising x86 servers and storage box.  IBM completed this project just in time before the change of fiscal year for the company. This is a significant milestone for Indian operations of Roca to help sync with their global company’s financial year schedule of January-December

ROCA India embarked on demerging it’s operations from the erstwhile group-wide SAP ecosystem to create its independent IT infrastructure for India/Asia region, linking all its locations Pan-India. IBM recommended upgrade of old ERP to latest SAP ECC 6.0 version to bring in performance improvement, resources optimization and process changes that would fuel future business growth.  The new ERP covers all internal processes including planning & demand management, sales management, finance management, procurement & production management and plant maintenance solutions – which have been implemented seamlessly without disrupting the business continuity in the day to day operations.
