Mahindra Tractors registers 8% increase in domestic sales in May 2011
Total Sales (domestic + exports) register 9% increase at 18892 units
Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), a part of the US $11.1 billion Mahindra Group, maintained its leadership position in the tractor industry in May 2011.
Domestic sales in May 2011 stood at 17952 units, as against 16608 units for the same period last year, an increase of 8%.
Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in May 2011 stood at 18892 units, as against 17256 units for the same period last year, an increase of 9%.
Exports for the month stood at 940 units, as against 648 units for the same period last year, an increase of 45%.
