Softcell acquires IT Secure Software

Information Security is one of the most critical issues faced by CIOs and IT Managers today. The Security market in India remains largely fragmented and consists of either small niche players or large SIs for whom security is just another line of business. There is a gap in the market for a robust company with a national reach to deliver security solutions through a focused team. With this acquisition, Softcell aims to fill this gap, bringing together their national infrastructure and customer base and IT Secure's skills in providing specialised solutions and services in the security domain. The merged entity would be a company that customers throughout the country can depend upon for their security requirements.
