“Automation Tech 2009”, organised by Automation Industry Association (AIA), a body representing leading Automation companies in India, has announced it will focus this year on building greater awareness for “Manufacturing Competitiveness and Sustainability” . Issues of public concern like water and energy availability, issues of business concern like asset and operational productivity, and issues of regulatory bodies will be taken up in a composite manner. The conference will conclude with a CEO Round Table.
The event will be organized on Friday 6th November 2009 at Novotel, Mumbai from 9:30 am.
AIA has also launched an interesting interactive site for for post conference dialogue between industry and automation experts. This addition is expected to help interested knowledge seekers and industry mentors stay together.
Participants attending the event will be able to hear, interact and seek mentorship from Industry leaders who are at the forefront of automation leadership at Hindustan Unilever, Reliance Industries, Pidilite, GA Daneili etc.
The full day event showcases future directions and best practices that industry can adopt by leveraging Automation technologies for improving Operational Excellence and Productivity, higher Efficiency in Energy use, increasing Security and Safety of Critical Assets, and better Environmental Protection from Industrial Waste and Pollution.
Apart from discussions in parallel tracks that cover these 4 areas, technology suppliers are setting up live demonstration units that will complement the proceedings at the tracks. Automation leaders include ABB, Chemtrols, Emerson Process Management, Invensys, Larsen & Toubro, Siemens, Endress + Hauser, Forbes Marshall and Honeywell.
Besides technology learning, the participants will be able experience a unique Extra Sensory Perception Show, by well known corporate celebrity, Mr. Deepak Rao.
