CSE index gains 24 points

The benchmark index (CSE-40) gained 24.35 points during the trading session. The local bourse was higher by 57.22 points in the previous session.

The local bourse opened at 6082.98 and inched higher to close at 6107.33 points.

Total trading volume was Rs 20.04 crore from 19 scrips.

Among major scrips, Blueprint Securities was at Rs 307.50. Konarak Commerce ended at Rs 98.20.

State Bank of India was up at Rs 2163 and Reliance Industries eased to close at Rs 708.

Tata Steel was down to Rs 418.95
