1.05 kg gold seized from passenger

Over one kg of gold, valued approximately at Rs 26 lakh, was today seized from a passenger who arrived by a Dubai-Karippur Air India Express flight at nearby Karipur International airport,officials said.
The gold, weighing 1.05 kg, was concealed in electronic goods and was seized from the passenger, hailing from Kannur district, customs officials said.
Air Customs Intelligence officials effected the seizure.
