The accident happened today at Raha when the duo, identified as Rampad Das and Babul Bora, were riding a bike which collied head-on with a bus travelling from Golaghat to Guwahati, they said.
Rampad died on the spot while a seriously-injured Babul was rushed to the BP Civil Hospital here, they said, adding that, an investigation has been initiated into the incident.
