The bus carrying about 30 passengers lost balance while negotiating a sharp turn and turned turtle at Kathapola near Malatipatapur, said Alekh Chandra Pahi, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Puri Sadar).
The injured persons were admitted to the district headquarters hospital where the condition of five passengers was stated to be serious, the police said.
