10 Bangladeshis deported

Ten Bangladeshi nationals, who were lodged at Silchar Jail, were deported to their country today through the Kalibari ghat port in Karimganj district on the Indo-Bangladesh border, police said.
The Bangladeshi nationals, including two children, were put in a motor boat of the BSF amidst tight security for deporting them to their country, they said.
The Karimganj Superintendent of Police was the coordinator for the deportation process, they said.
The date to deport the Bangladeshi nationals was decided by the Union Home Ministry, Deputy Commissioner S Vishwanathan told PTI.
