The surrendered ultras were identified as Deve alias Sushila Dinanath Dugga (24), Ramdas alias Ramesh Gawande (24), Sheela alias Asha Tanu Hichami (21), Kishor alias Madhukar Peka Mattami (25), Raju alias Natthu Narote (25), Santhila alias Nirtmala Kowachi (25), Umesh alias Sarju Mattami (32), Ganesh alias Dewaji Naitam (21), Sanny alias Junni Mahaka (21) and Mahesh alias Dewsay Poretti (19).
All of them were part of various Naxal dalams operating in Gadchiroli district.
The ultras surrendered before Additional Director General of Maharashtra police Ahmed Javed at the police headquarters here.
The surrendered Naxals were handed out cheques of Rs 10,000 each as preliminary aid under the government's rehabilitation policy.
