"The state government has decided to use Android-based application e-Samiksha for effective monitoring of infrastructure projects in the state," Financial Commissioner Planning and Development BB Vyas said during a high level meeting here today.
In the first phase, around 100 high-value projects are being brought under the e-monitoring mechanism, he said.
The Additional District Development Commissioners (ADDCs) and District Statistical and Evaluation Officers (DSEOs) of Jammu province responsible for monitoring of the infrastructure projects in their respective areas of jurisdiction were present at the meeting.

The project received a setback due to 2014 floods as heavy machinery involved in its construction was submerged.
The spokesman said the work on the Grade Separator being constructed near Radio Station will be completed within the adhered time-frame.

In ongoing Loan-II for which fund flow started in 2007, ERA is executing works under Urban Sector Development and Investment Programme (USDIP) which have to be completed by March 31, 2017.
Under the multi-tranche financing facility, an amount of Rs 1694 crore will be spent in solid waste management, urban transport, capacity building and equipment for PHE and Municipal Corporations, he said.
In Phase II, she said the scope of solid waste management may be broadened by involving around 1.50 lakh households in the summer capital over the next three months.
Mehbooba said option of involving private companies may be explored for waste segregation under their corporate social responsibility.
While Cell-I at Achan landfill site has been filled, capped and closed, Cell-II is currently in use and will last for the next three months, the spokesman added.
