12 IPS, 7 PPS officers transferred in Punjab

In a major administrative reshuffle in Punjab, the government today transferred twelve IPS and seven PPS including three ADGP rank officers.
A file to this effect was cleared by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal this morning, an official spokesperson said.
Among IPS officers, CSR Reddy, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Welfare has been transferred as ADGP IT and T in place of Jaswinder Singh who becomes ADGP Traffic.
R P Singh, who is ADGP Traffic, has been given the charge of ADGP Welfare & HRD, said the spokesman.
IPS officer Balbir Kumar Bawa, who is IGP Human Rights has been posted as IGP Security while DIG IRB S K Singh has been given the charge of IGP Human Rights.
Among DIG rank officers, Mohnish Chawla, DIG Ferozepur Range, goes as DIG Admn CPO replacing Balkar Singh Sidhu who has been posted as DIG Patiala range.
Amar Singh Chahal DIG Bathinda range goes as DIG Ferozepur Range while Shive Kumar Sharma, DIG Patiala Range goes as DIG Bathinda Range.
SSP SBS Nagar Sanmeet Kaur has been given the charge of AIG Investigation while DCP Amritsar Bikram Pal Singh goes as DCP Jalandhar.
Babu Lal Meena, AIG State Narcotic Control Bureau has been posted as Commandant IRB Kapurthala.
Among seven PPS officers, Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, SSP Faridkot goes as AIG Intelligence and Narinder Bhargava SSP Rural Jalandhar transferred as Commandant IRB Ludhiana.
